Welcome to my online portfolio

My name is Emily Dextraze.  I’m a graduate from NBCC Woodstock, NB with a Certificate in Digital Photography (2010) and a Diploma in Journalism (2009).  From August 2010 to July 2011 I held a Student Internship position at the Army Learning Support Center (ALSC), CFB Gagetown, NB and earned an Applied Arts Advanced Diploma from NBCC Miramichi, NB. 

Although I enjoy all aspects of photography, capturing a moment in time that will be looked at again and again, my passion is sports photography.  I am a hockey fan and love being in a cold rink watching and waiting to get that one amazing shot…the goalie making that one save that keeps his team in the game, the coach behind the bench as he inspires his players, the faces of a victorious team or the defeated faces of a team that has given their all and still fell just short of victory.
